Staff
The Pre-School has a dedicated team of staff who all hold Registered Childcare qualifications. All our staff are first aid and safeguard trained, and attend termly courses to update skills and knowledge. All of the staff have children or family members who have attended the Pre-School in previous years, and many were committee members prior to joining the team. Our emergency staff are DBS checked, and have all undergone safeguarding training.
Chantael joined the Pre-School in February 2004.
She is NVQ Level 4 qualified. Chantael is leading the preschool in its journey to achieve the highest standards possible. She provides the children with the best start possible in their educational journey.
Allison joined our team in January 2009. She is NVQ level 3 trained, and is our Equal Opportunities Coordinator.
Allison helps us meet the diverse needs of all our children and their families. She is patient and welcoming.
Julie brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the team, with over 18 years of experience.
She has a Cache Level 3 in Children’s Care. She is passionate about making the children’s early years as enjoyable as possible.
Sammy joined the team in November 2011.
She has a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, and is our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO). Sammy has a caring nature, and is very keen to support and motivate the children’s learning through play.
Alice joined the team in November 2019. She holds an NVQ 3 qualification.
Alice has a joyful nature, and joins us with fresh ideas, and lots of enthusiasm.
Jess joins us from September 2024 with a wealth of experience in the education sector, and she brings a passion for arts and crafts to the team.
